When Bristol Airport first produced their Master Plan 2040 for consultation purposes about further expansion to 15mppa, BAAN produced a counter argument against expansion in an ‘Alternative’ Master Plan.
After the consultation ended Bristol Airport then dropped the bombshell that they would apply for a CPO (compulsory purchase order) to steal the top of Felton Common for the approach landing lights that they’d ‘forgotten’ to include in their Master Plan.
BAAN have now updated their Alternative Master Plan to include the argument for why taking Felton Common land is completely unacceptable.
